Welcome to Lake Parsippany School
Home of the Penguins
Dear Lake Parsippany Families and Community,
I am honored to join the Lake Parsippany family and learning community this year as your principal. It is important to strive to support our students in reaching their maximum potential as learners. In doing so, it is our goal to continue to develop collaborative relationships with parents and families for the benefit of our students. Our staff continues to value our sense of community and demonstrates great pride in doing so.
It isn’t coincidental that the school mascot is the penguin. As we all know, penguins are unique animals with very distinct characteristics. When I think of a penguin, I think of one who stands tall with pride and adapts well to its environment. It is one of our goals at the Lake Parsippany School to instill that pride, a strong work ethic, and respect in our students. These ideals work together to provide students with support in building the character and help mold a successful future. As always, our parents and families play an essential role in developing these characteristics and experiences in our students.
As students learn and grow, we only hope that they can leave the Lake Parsippany School with a strong educational foundation and overall positive experience within a safe learning climate. It is important to know that our message is strong in building and demonstrating respect. As Principal, I am proud to be a penguin, and I only hope our students will always have the same positive experience and sense of pride in being part of this great learning community and team.
As the principal and an educational leader of the Lake Parsippany School, I will never forget the words of John Quincy Adams when he said:
“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more,
do more and become more, you are a leader.”
I look forward to the collaborative work ahead in guiding our students to great leadership opportunities and educational achievement!
Sincerely and respectfully,
Mr. Steven Linzenbold
Please encourage your child to spend at least twenty minutes reading each and every day. Novels, magazines, chapter books, newspapers, picture books, or even something digital*, the choice is yours. As Nike reminds us, the important thing is … Just Do It.
* Don’t forget, Raz-Kids is available, thanks to our generous PTA
