Lake Parsippany Elementary School is nestled between large oak and pine trees behind Kingston Road. The original building was built in 1949 as a 6 room schoolhouse. Two additions in 1955 and 1961 increased the size of the school to what it is today. This K-5 school has approximately 320 students and a full professional teaching staff of 40 classroom teachers and specialists, and over 35 support staff. Our school is known for a warm and caring atmosphere and a nurturing staff. We have a diverse student population that is supported by caring parents, a strong PTA and a resourceful community which is reflected in our school motto - Who says penguins can't fly?
